France
France has been part of my work since 2016, and it remains one of the most rewarding countries to photograph weddings in. I’ve worked across four distinct regions โ from the medieval village of Monpazier and the rural quiet of Rougerie in the Pรฉrigord, to the vineyards around Bordeaux, and most recently the lavender fields and stone farmhouses of Provence near Mรฉnerbes.
There’s a particular quality to weddings in France โ unhurried, rooted in place, with food and landscape and light all playing their part. As a documentary photographer that’s exactly the kind of day I love to work in.
If you’re planning a wedding in France โ whether in Provence, Bordeaux, the Dordogne or anywhere else in the country โ I’d love to hear about it.
