I'm Bruno Giliberto, a documentary photographer living between Santiago and Berlin. I'm fascinated by weddings as a means of understanding humanity — observing how the same ritual varies across different landscapes, beliefs and cultures. This curiosity has taken me to over 21 countries across four continents over fifteen years, and it still drives the way I work at every wedding I photograph.
My work sits at the intersection of documentary photography and fine art. I'm interested in how people interact with their environments, how celebration takes shape within different cultures, and how the unrepeatable moments of a wedding day unfold when nobody is being directed. I don't stage or pose — I observe, follow, and photograph what actually happens.
I'm currently based between Chile and Berlin, shooting weddings and elopements across Europe, the Americas, Asia and Africa. If you're planning a wedding or elopement anywhere in the world, feel free to get in touch.
Even though weddings around the world differ in every culture, my packages typically include a minimum of 8 hours of coverage. If you require more time, it’s something we can arrange between us. Usually, I am there throughout the entire day, starting when you or your couple are getting ready and concluding sometime after the first dance. For elopements I work across one or more days depending on your plans, traveling to wherever you choose to celebrate.
