My work in the United States has taken me from the beaches of Hawaii and Miami to the hills and venues of Los Angeles, Hollywood, and Malibu. Eleven weddings across the country since 2016, with a particular connection to the LA area — I’ve returned to Hollywood and Los Angeles more than anywhere else in the States, and I’ve come to love the particular quality of light and energy that California brings to a wedding day.

Each coast has its own character. A celebration in Malibu feels completely different from one in Miami — and both feel different from a Hawaiian ceremony at sunset. That variety is exactly what keeps documentary wedding photography endlessly interesting.
